MANY THANKS TO . . .
When I decided to start Fluff Meringues & More, I was completely ignorant of everything that starting a bakery would require. I had only ever had office jobs and had never even worked in a restaurant before. Nevertheless, and not the least bit surprising to anyone who knows me, I threw caution to the wind and dove in head first because, you know, I like a good challenge.
Along the way, I leaned heavily on the expertise of my incredibly talented friends, family, and the odd random person that the universe put in my way (I’m looking at you Brian) to achieve my goals. Hence, I want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt Thank You to the many wonderful, supportive, and inspirational people that have helped the Fluffery come to fruition. Without further adieu, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU to:
Olivia C. for being one of the best people I have ever had the good fortune of knowing and also being the visual creative driver behind the Fluffery. You not only walked me back off many ledges, but without you Fluff Meringues & More as a brand would literally not exist.
Zahra K. for supporting me in my zany ideas and getting as excited about them as I do even if they do not make too much sense at the time.
Kunal D. for being so eager to share your experience and knowledge with me. You are an incredible mentor and I greatly appreciate your support and belief in the Fluffery!
Levi N. for getting the Fluffery started with a great website and then very patiently fielding all of my assuredly annoying novice developer questions.
Nathan + Justin for listening to me whine and fret over the past 3 years on just about every issue related to starting a business. Also, thanks for lending me your beautiful kitchen for photo shoots and car (and muscles) for moving things!
Jessi C. for being the most reliable taste tester, fan, and sensible sounding board a girl could ask for!
Brian E. for not running away thinking I was some crazy chick with lavender hair who was, admittedly, eavesdropping on your conversation at that fateful day. You taught, and continue to teach, me about the Austin foodie scene from a highly experienced perspective and for that I am eternally grateful.
Rodney S. for guiding me through the complicated web of commercial real estate in Austin. You found me a gem!
Sarah L. for being my badass Lady Entrepreneur inspiration. Oh, and for making amazing boxes. Seriously amazing boxes (and cups)!
MF Architecture Team (Matt, Ian, Sarah, Jayson, and Anna) for being the absolute best at what you do and for putting up with my utter naivety on designing and building any and everything. You guys (and gal) hit the nail on the head and I am so excited to go to work everyday in such a gorgeous space.
ICHOR Construction Team for helping me build the space of my fluffin’ dreams.
Beth A. for being the Fluffery’s #1 cheerleader and guiding me through the social media landscape. Tu me manques!
My incredibly supportive and smart parents who have always supported me through thick and thin.
