How much in advance do I need to order for my event?

Is everything truly customizable?
CAN I CHANGE THE DESIGN OF MY ORDER AFTER I'VE SENT IN THE DEPOSIT?
Yes, you have up until 14 days before your event to make any changes including design and amount of servings needed. Please keep in mind, that any major design changes can incur additional design fees.
DO YOU STAY TO CUT THE CAKE OR SERVE THE DESSERT(S)?
DO YOU DELIVER? IF SO, WHAT IS THE FEE?
Yes we do! The fee varies by distance we must travel (we are located in central Austin) and the complexity of set-up. All of this can be discussed and agreed upon during your consultation.
DO YOU RENT DISPLAYS OR PEDESTALS?
On a similar note, our cakes come on a sturdy, wrapped cake board (often called a drum) that is based on the size of the cake. It can be placed on any surface for display.
DO YOU PROVIDE TOPPERS?
CAN I HAVE FRESH FLOWERS ON MY DESSERTS OR CAKE?
MY EVENT IS GOING TO BE OUTDOORS. WILL THIS BE A PROBLEM?
We do realize that Austin is a haven for outdoor events, but given the heat and humidity there are some items that we do get concerned about. We do not suggest placing cakes, tarts, cones, or anything dipped in chocolate outside during the late spring/summer/early fall heat (particularly if it is over 50% humidity and in direct sunlight). Even later in the evening nearer to twilight the sun is still hot enough to melt the icing on a cake in less than thirty minutes. That said there are precautions we can take. Please let us know during your consultation what time your event will be during the day and where you plan on displaying your dessert/cake table and we can devise a plan to ensure your sweets are well taken care of and will last throughout your event.
