Kristin is the Founder of the Fluffery. She is a self-taught baker living in Austin, Texas where she fills her life with her friends, fitness, and her dog, Trollop “McSqueaksalot” Wensleydale Collins. Born in the Texas Panhandle, Kristin studied Advertising before moving to Manchester and London where she acquired a master’s in International Relations and fostered a love of travel.

After discovering a passion for the world’s cultures, cuisines, and people, Kristin moved back stateside in 2010 to receive an additional master’s degree in Management. Combining her interests in food, friends, and business, Kristin founded Fluff Meringues & More with a desire to make quality, artful treats with thoughtfully sourced ingredients and a long-term business plan that gives back to the local and international communities alike.


Production + Kitchen Manager 


Megan comes to the Fluffery from New Jersey via Brooklyn. She began her pastry career at Caputo’s Italian Pastry Shop in New Jersey, but soon enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York where she honed her craft in baking and pastry arts. In 2011 she worked under Michelle Richard Citronelle in Washington D.C., then moved on to Leopold’s Kafe + Konditore (D.C.), Sugar Plumm in Moonachie, NJ, and then on to The Good Batch in Brooklyn where she managed the production of both the wholesale program and opening of the cafe. Upon arriving in Austin, she worked at Facebook where she managed the production of daily desserts for the 800+ person office.

She likes to spend her time with her pup, Rebel, visit her family in NJ, watch cute animal videos online, and eat ALL THE TACOS. ALL OF THEM.
